About the Commission

The National Sports Commission (NSC) is the apex federal government agency in Nigeria responsible for regulating, developing, and managing sports policies, grassroots programs, and elite athlete training. Headquartered in Abuja, the commission is led by Chairman Shehu Dikko and operates under the federal government's agenda to transform sports into a viable economic industry.
